We went to visit our Carpenter family over the fourth of July weekend. It had been a while since we'd been for a visit, and they hadn't yet met baby Eric, so we decided to make the trek. We brought Cat out to visit when she was about three weeks old, too. Here are two pictures from that visit:
Lots of folks were visiting for the holiday at the same as us, so Eric got to meet Auntie Regi, Sam, Will, Auntie Cindi, Nana, Uncle Dave & Aunt Maureen, Oma Joyce and lots of friends. Everyone seemed to like him pretty well.

Snuggling with Auntie Regi...

Listening to a little live music in the park with Oma Joyce...
Cat continues to like her brother quite a bit. She LOVES to "nuggle" him, but occasionally has to be reminded to be gentle.
Cat had a great time in Ithaca, as usual. She played with "her frens" Sam, Angelina, Marcel & Will quite a bit, though Will was dubbed "a meaner" for making too much noise while she was napping. (In his defense, all he did was walk down the stairs and he apologized right away.)
Regi has a great driveway for coloring on:
a fantastic backyard for playing in:
a garden that needed watering...
(Cat & Regi got watered, too, as Cat is a
very enthusiastic waterer!):
Regi's piano is also a lot of fun:
