I have really been slacking on this blog--I think that facebook has taken over my life. Cat turned 3 last week and we celebrated with two birthday parties. We had one with her friends at Treepaad, a nifty local indoor playspace. She had such a good time playing with her buddies and being the center of attention. The next day we did a tea party for the family at home. It was an interesting mix of people--family and friends--some knew each other unexpectedly. Cat helped make cupcakes for the party and had a great time. For her actual birthday, we sent cupcakes to daycare. Dan took the night off, we ordered pizza at Cat's request and just had a quiet night at home.
Eric turned eight months old on Cat's birthday. He is really getting to be a big boy and is started to get into everything! He can army crawl around quite speedily and has gotten up on his knees a few times. He also pulled himself up to standing today! He is holding fast with four teeth, but I think he's got several more in the works. Poor kid has had a recurring ear infection since mid-December. He just finished his third antibiotic and goes in for a recheck tomorrow. Fingers crossed for no more infections!
